WELL the years get away fast I grew up a year younger than David,I remember his twin brothers Roy and Ralph.
I always like to talk with David however I would only see him very times through the times in the past years
David grew up a block from me. We used to walk to school together. Great memories
David was always kind and thoughtful of others. I never saw him without a smile. Prayers foe his family.
David was the first person to really get to know my wife and I when we first moved to Nolan County in 1985. He was a great family friend and will be truly missed. I also had the honor of working with David in the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office for many years before he decided to move back closer to home turf. On behalf of myself, my family, and the Nolan County Sheriff’s Office, I offer our condolences to David’s family and we lift you up in our prayers.
Sheriff David Warren
Nolan County
I just heard about your passing, Mr Duncan. I haven’t seen you in quite awhile, but I will never forget what a very considerate, respectable and kind person you were. You made people feel safe and secure when you were around. You never hesitated to help, or extended a helping hand to those who needed it, or got someone who could. You always had a smile on your face and always made people around you, feel welcomed and at ease. You had a knack of making people smile and laugh at the things you’d say or do. I will always remember you, Mr. Duncan. May you rest in peace and you always be in our our hearts.
